Route overview

The route moves from Bergen’s working harbour into Hardanger and on to Flåm. Confirmed local guides and suppliers add context to the landscape, transport, food, and community life along the way.

Rail, road, and boat journeys provide the structure. The exact visits and shared meals are selected for the season, the group, and current local availability.

Local context

Travellers gain a clearer view of how transport, farming, and community life interact with the fjord landscape.
