A route to shape around your client

This Rovaniemi Christmas journey is designed around families’ pace, with four nights in one base. A Santa Claus Village visit sits alongside short winter activities and time indoors, so the programme remains enjoyable when daylight is limited or the weather is very cold.

The outline allows 4 nights, including arrival and departure planning. Keep the sequence, extend a favourite base or change the balance of activity and downtime. This is an illustrative FIT journey for travel agents; accommodation, transport and experiences are selected for the final brief.

A flexible starting point

December daylight is limited and snow conditions vary. Check children’s ages, clothing, activity duration and festive opening dates. Keep indoor alternatives; neither snow activities nor aurora sightings are guaranteed.

Winter & Arctic

We can tailor this outline, combine it with another route, or design a new programme from scratch.

Day 2

Christmas at the Arctic Circle

Visit Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle, with the experience chosen around the children’s ages and interests. Time for queues, warm breaks and lunch keeps this festive day enjoyable without adding another major excursion. Overnight: same base.

Day 3

Winter outdoors

Discover the winter landscape through one snow activity suited to the family, subject to conditions and age requirements. Returning in good time leaves the afternoon free for rest, a warm drink or time together at the accommodation. Overnight: same base.

Day 4

Culture or clear skies

A museum or indoor visit offers a comfortable daytime option. If the forecast and the family’s energy allow, a short evening outing can be arranged to look for the northern lights, whose appearance can never be guaranteed. Overnight: same base.
